Privacy policy

Your financial data never leaves your device
Everything you enter into the planner — incomes, expenses, debts, pay rises, lump sums, scheduled rate changes, any emergency-fund target and your logged progress check-ins — is stored only in your browser's localStorage so it's still there when you come back. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no databases. The "Reset" button in the planner deletes all of it instantly, as does clearing your browser data.
The same is true of the extras: CSV and JSON exports are generated in your browser and saved straight to your device, and installing the app for offline use only caches the app's own files locally — never your figures.
Share links are the one exception you control. When you choose "Share", your plan is encoded into the link itself (after the #), which browsers do not send to any server — but anyone you give that link to can open your full plan, including your progress history. Only share it with people you're happy to share those details with.
What we collect
Your entered figures stay on your device (see above). For the site itself we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand traffic — which pages are visited, rough referrer and device type. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not use a persistent identifier, and does not build a profile of you across sites. No financial data you enter is ever sent to it. You can read more at vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may also keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and operations, governed by their own privacy policy.
Advertising
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep this tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. Ads are served by Google, not us — the planner's calculations and your entered data are not shared with advertisers.
You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
Consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland)
If you visit from the EEA, UK or Switzerland you will be shown a consent message before any personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can choose non-personalised ads or decline. You can change your choice at any time: clearing this site's cookies makes the consent message appear again on your next visit, and you can manage personalised advertising across Google services at adssettings.google.com.
Children
This site is a general-audience financial planning tool and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
